DR DAVID MARSHALL

Many of you will have had your pets cared for by Dr David Marshall over the last 15 years. However, in December 2015 David left Ranford Vets and we were very all very sad to see him go. David and his family have moved to Southern Western Australia and are enjoying their "sea change".

Dr Cambelle Dunn has replaced David in the Practice and the other vets, Graeme, Kelly, Rachel, Becky and Janie (part time) are all still here to continue caring for your pets.

MICROCHIPPING TO BECOME COMPULSORY FOR ALL DOGS

As of November 2013 any dog or puppy involved in a change of ownership must be micro-chipped and from November 2015 micro-chipping will become compulsory for all dogs. Microchipping is quick and relatively painless and provides life-long identification enabling pets to be re-united with their owners if lost.

NEW CAT LAWS

All pet cats are now required by law to be de-sexed, micro-chipped and registered with the local council. Cats with no identification may be deemed as strays and impounded. Please enquire with your local council regarding registration paperwork.

We can provide micro-chipping and de-sexing for your cat. A microchip is the size of a grain of rice. When implanted under the skin it provides a form of permanent identification. For more information about microchips please contact us on 9456 0222.
